Winter is coming in leaps and bounds - it's time for a sweaty party! Finally, it's that time again! After the successful "Summer Edition" now follows the legendary "Winter Edition" of the HSW-night.

On 16 December, students want to know the BFH and party from 22.30 o'clock at Le Ciel to the beats of DJ ANDREY, DAVE IT and 1WAY.

Grand-Prix of Bern

Rain ... rain ... rain ... not the most ideal conditions for a marathon. But this weekend the Grand-Prix of Bern took place again. We "Bärner" also like to call it: "The most beautiful 10 miles of the world ";-)

Among the men, as in the previous year, the kenyan Daniel Chebii won. His compatriot Monica Jepkoech could prevail among women with only 10 hundredths of a second ahead of the Hungarian Aniko Kalovics.

Hopefully a lot of The Student's Card Members have mastered "The 10 most beautiful miles of the world" successfully.

Zermatt Unplugged Musicfestival

From 12-16. April is the Zermatt Unplugged Music Festival. In addition to acts such as Naturally 7, James Walsh, Mando Diao or OneRepublic the Zermatt Unplugged promotes young talents. The New Talents concept Zermatt Unplugged would like contribute to the promotion of talented musicians. Two intrepid professor at the University of Bern face each other at the DJ booth. Besides fame and glory for each faculty above all the respect and the benevolent grace of the attending students is waiting. The Institute of Marketing and General Management (IMU) Prof. Harley Krohmer enters the ring. In the other corner, we welcome Prof. Günter Heine, who is competing for the Institute of Criminal Law and Criminology (RWI). The stakes could not be more powerful: No Battle without crime. So that everything above board and all gets to be referee Alex Torres, better known as DJ Scaloni ensure that the guests before and after the showdown hot beats.

Down in the liquid, we welcome you to our stand where you can become a member of the community of The StudentCard at a special price of CHF 49 instead of 59.- Enjoy the night.

Big Launching Party

Dear Members,

on Wednesday 13th October 2010 will be the big The Student Card's launch party at the Elephant Club St. Gallen! We want to invite you and your friends to share this special evening with us. From 21.30-22.30 o’clock, we have organized an aperitif. The drinks will be provided to you by Glen Fahrn and we have a great finger-food buffet brought to you by Brasserie Walhalla, Restaurant Punkt and Vögeli Beck. The generous appetizer is limited to150 people and costs with the card 10.- (includes admission). For all who do not make it to the appetizer the entry is free of admission with the card.
